PLANNED GIVING: Give Your House and Continue to Live There
You may want to make a major gift to our parish. Why not consider real estate: This is called a life estate gift. This simply means that you give a piece of real estate, such as your residence, to our parish, obtain a charitable income tax deduction and retrain the right to live there as long as you want. This arrangement removes the property from you estate and relieves your executor from having to dispose of your home at your death. Contact Scott Lalone at the Diocese at 315-393-2920 or Email slalone@rcdony.org for further information.

Mary Immaculate, our Mother and our Patroness,
we ask you to intercede for us with your Son,
as you did at the wedding in Cana.
Pray for us, loving Mother,
and gain for our diocese, our nation and our world,
for our families and loved ones,
the protection of your Maternal mantle from this dreaded virus.
In this time of trial and testing,
teach all of us to love one another and to be patient and kind.
Help us to bring the peace and healing Presence of Jesus to our land and to our hearts.
We come to you with confidence,
knowing that you are our compassionate mother,
health of the sick and cause of our joy.
Keep us in the embrace of your arms,
Help us always to know the love of your Son, Jesus our Lord.
AMEN.

SEARCHLIGHT: Youth Leadership Overnight Retreat
God created each of us intentionally, out of love, and for a purpose. Our hearts search for God and will not be content until united with Him. During this retreat, we will embark on the search for God together. It is easy to look to Google for answers, but only God reaches into our lives and gives us a personal response.
During this overnight youth retreat we invite teens into a relationship with God by encouraging them to ask the big questions about the purpose of life and answering them with the Gospel Message. Along the way, they will have a ton of fun while enjoying a true “camp” experience at our exclusive Guggenheim camp located in Saranac Lake, New York.
We have a full line up of activities planned and special guest Music Ministry leaders and presenters, MJM7. MJM7 is a Catholic family band comprised of Michael James Mette and 5 of his children: Gabriella (17), Trinity (15), Charity (13), and Cecilia (12) and MJ (11). The Mette's gifts of music, joy, & family life offer the boldness and innocence of youth with the wisdom and depth of lived experiences. Visit www.MJM7.band to learn more about them!
Overnight accommodation in the Dorm, meals and a special gift included for a fee of $49.00 per teen. Once you register, you will be directed to the payment page. After completing payment, you will receive a Guggenheim packing list and schedule for drop off and pick up times. The retreat will begin Friday October 1st at 5:00PM and end Saturday October 2nd at 6:00PM.
COVID-19 Safety Notice
We have no higher priority than providing a safe and healthy venue for Youth Leadership Retreat 2021.
All staff are fully vaccinated. All attendees, upon check-in, will be requested to provide proof of vaccination or results of a negative PCR test for COVID-19 taken in the last 72 hours. We ask that any registered attendee experiencing any common COVID symptoms not attend the retreat.
The Diocese of Ogdensburg continues to monitor the changing landscape involving the CDC guidelines. We will follow the New York State Department of Health requirements regarding COVID-19 safety.
Please note that this is a very fluid time as we navigate our new normal. We will continue to post updates as needed.
If you have any registration or requirement questions, please contact, Jeannie Grizzuto, Youth Office Administrator at: jgrizzuto@rcdony.org or 315-393-2920 ext. 1413
