MARDI GRAS CELEBRATION: A Catholic Young Adult Event

February 25 starting at 5pm, St. Mary's in Potsdam, NY

The mission of the Potsdam Frassati Fellowship is, to provide a setting to build community for Catholic Young Adults in the Diocese of Ogdensburg!

We are a group of Young Adults who seek to grow in understanding of our Catholic faith, community, and discipleship through monthly gatherings, pilgrimages, and community service activities. We welcome any young adults in their 20s and 30s. Together, we are students, professionals, married, and single. Although we are brought together to share and deepen our Catholic faith, young adults curious about our faith are also welcome!

Our monthly meetings consist of prayer, scripture readings, and discussion as well as well as presentations by local Catholics. We will first gather for adoration at Saint Mary's in Potsdam at 5pm for about 30 minutes and then make our way over to the Rectory and Newman House for food, fun and fellowship!

The patron of our organization is Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. A humble and selfless and young adult man who had a great love for serving Christ and His Church. In our fellowship, we seek to imitate Blessed Pier Giorgio's joyful holiness and sense of friendship, in a modern world that is often devoid of both.

Single-use plastic includes bags, water bottles, cutlery, straws, and balloons.
The recent ban on plastic bags is one step towards taking better care of our common home. When picking up a reusable bag, why not pick up one to donate to your local food pantry or give to a neighbor?
