eNOTES is a biweekly diocesan newsletter which is sent out via email to all priests & parish secretaries and to all diocesan staff automatically.  Others who would like to receive eNotes can do so by subscribing on the eNotes webpage (www.rcdony.org/enotes).   Parishes can also submit content via the submission form on that page for inclusion in parish bulletins (please be sure to check the schedule on the page.  Generally, in order to submit content in time for parish bulletins, content needs to be received at least three weeks prior to the bulletin date.)  We welcome suggestions for improvements to newsletter.  Suggestions can be sent via email to enotes@rcdony.org.

YEAR-END GIFTS

When should I start thinking about my year-end gift? The best time to make these decisions is early, especially if you are considering gifts of stock or real estate. Having extra time for consultation assures you that there are no unintended consequences or last minute delays. It is best not to feel hurried. For further questions on year-end gifts or gifts of stock or real estate, contact Diocese Develop Executive Director Scott Lalone at 315- 393-2920 or e-mail slalone@rcony.org

A FRIENDLY REQUEST RE: SACRAMENTAL NOTIFICATIONS

When sending sacramental notifications (e.g. of Confirmation or Marriage) to a consolidated parish, please be sure to include the name of the specific church in which Baptism was conferred. If the notice is simply sent to "St. André Bessette," for example, we must then look for the proper name and date in multiple registers in order to record the information in the appropriate place. Thanks for your assistance!
