ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
(for the February 11/12 Bulletin)
ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
Did you know that Pope Francis and mayors from around the world have signed a common declaration of intent to combat environmental damage and human trafficking? Those who are fleeing from war, violence, droughts, and natural disasters are very vulnerable to human traffickers who promise a better life but turn them into ‘slaves.’ Let us pray for the wisdom and courage to speak out and act as responsible Christians for the protection and conservation of our environment, ‘our common home.' L. Si. St. Josephine Bakhita, pray for us.

Take time this week to thank them for their efforts to create a more sustainable future for our children. Find out how and why they took these steps.
