Diocesan Choir
Hope is often not an isolated experience but something that
is experienced because of another person or with someone else. Music is a great
tool that helps build hope in individuals, parishes, dioceses and communities,
and it is all the more effective in a communal setting. Therefore, musicians
throughout the Diocese of Ogdensburg are invited to come together to form a
Diocesan Choir for our 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope event, ”The Look, Feel & Sound of Hope,” which is being held on August 24th, starting at 3 p.m. at St.
Bernard’s Catholic Church in Saranac Lake. The Diocesan Choir will be
responsible for leading the following three hymns:
- O God,
Our Help in Ages Past (ST. ANNE)
- Let
The Earth Acclaim Christ Jesus (the official hymn for the ongoing
Eucharistic Revival)
- The
refrain of ”Pilgrims of Hope” (the official hymn for the 2025 Jubilee
Year)
