Family Guggenheim welcomes families of all dimensions to come enjoy a special weekend in the beauty of the Adirondacks. Expect fun family workshops and activities that will have you working and laughing together. Celebrate Christ’s presence in your lives through liturgy (often outside) and special prayer services. Take time for great outdoor activities like paddle boat rides, beach volleyball, and hiking. You are never too young or too old to enjoy being family at Camp Guggenheim!
Come celebrate family ... be strengthened by what you experience…gain insight from other families you meet…share the love of your family with others.
Family Guggenheim weekends are facilitated by a team which includes Family Guggenheim Directors Deacon Henry and Dayna Leader, a chaplain, and other families from the diocese. Family Guggenheim is sponsored by the Family Life Office of the Diocese of Ogdensburg.
Family Guggenheim is held at the Guggenheim Retreat Center operated by the Diocese of Ogdensburg on Lower Saranac Lake. The grounds include 150 acres of land and 1,500 feet of lake shore. In this setting of unparalleled beauty, programs encourage youth and families to live and proclaim the Gospel of love and concern.
