Some Lenten Resources for 2023

The Return from Ave Maria Press: The books are not cheap, but there are bulk discounts. The books are not 100% necessary, but they do offer daily reflections/journaling prompts. The Leader can download the free leader guide for the weekly discussions and the videos will be free on YouTube.

No Greater Love – A biblical Walk through Christ's Passion is a bibical pilgrimage filmed in the Holy Land that guides the participant through the last hours of Christ's life, shedding light on the myster of Christ's suffering and death.

There is also a one-hour long talk by Dr. Edward Sri on the Steubenville Conferences YouTube Channel on

Of course, there is Forgiven on Formed https://watch.formed.org/forgiven/season:1 Which I think would be an excellent program for Lent. If you don't have Formed check with the Catechetical Office for a DVD set.

Another option would be to run the Rescue Project. It is a powerful introduction to the gospel – the kerygma.  It is free and you can create a free account to access all the resources.

St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology is running a Lenten program call Holy is His Name. It is an online bible study where Scott Hahn traces the meaning of holiness from its origins in Scripture to its appearance in our own lives today.
